Rebecca Brand's Dinner Party Art Class is a reality TV show that combines fine wine, fine food, and fine art into episodes of an entire evening where Santa Barbara Singles come together to learn to oil paint.

    In the show, Rebecca, the teacher, attempts to teach a cast of real local singles, that have never painted before, the techniques of the French impressionists.  The party-goers are well lubed up from tastings of local wines, and filled up from a gourmet dinner ... they stumble into the art studio after dinner to start their lesson.

    Rebecca teaches the students and the viewers, in a hysterical way, how fine art is painted from soup to nuts to better understand what goes into the making of fine art.  Rebecca walks the class and the viewer through the intricacies of oil painting, the materials and the techniques in a fun, lively fashion.

    The show starts out with guests arriving for the wine tasting of local wines.  After quite a raucous happy hour, Rebecca and local guest chefs serve a gourmet dinner.  Rebecca and the local chefs showcase cooking techniques.

    After more wine, and sometimes scotch and tequila, off they go into the art studio (which is a converted garage at Rebecca's home) for the oil painting lesson.  Attentions wane as the students are tipsy from the wine and dinner.

    Rebecca's style is punchy, friendly, and sometimes demanding (in a caring way) as she tries to get excellence out of her students which are sometimes quite spirited!  Chaos in the studio is managed and a painting lesson is given.  We see love ignite between some students of the group and lots of flirting goes around.  Rebecca's warm personality permeates the room and the mood as other's get better acquainted.

    The evening ends with a dessert and wine celebration of the evening and all the progress made in the art studio.  The conversations get looser as the evening progresses.
